For design work: the entire Adobe Suit (Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop etc.). In illustrator I do the heavy lifting design work and then I transfer it to Canva if I want to scale the design work and create templates and mockups.  

For Websites: Wix and WordPress, when I use WordPress I choose Elementor as a page Builder plugin. Figma is my go-to program for complex wire framing and design systems.

Wix and WordPress are both popular platforms for building websites, and each has its own benefits and drawbacks. The best platform for a particular project will depend on the specific needs and goals of the user.

Wix handles all of the maintenance and updates for its users, which means that users do not need to worry about keeping their websites up to date.

WordPress, on the other hand, can be more complex and may require a steeper learning curve for users BUT  it offers a greater level of flexibility and control which you need if you want more advanced features or a  highly customised websites.

In terms of SEO optimisations WordPress is better and easier to optimise than Wix. 

In some cases WordPress is overkill, if you want a simple website then Wix will do. But if you are aiming for the long-run and you want to have a solid strategy WordPress is probably better.
