I’ve been thinking long and hard about what my real value proposition is. Yesterday, I listened to a bunch of podcasts and had plenty of time to reflect during my flight back to Madrid from Berlin.

I started thinking about others. Some freelancers focus on a specific tool or technology, while others are highly specialized in an industry. I had to carefully consider where I fit in.

Over the past five years, I’ve explored various fields:

• 2020: Worked in a tech startup in Berlin, focusing on product development.
• 2021: Began learning branding.
• 2022: Delved into digital marketing with a focus on social media marketing (SMM) and SEO.
• 2023: Concentrated on websites and SEO.
• 2024: Completed a full-stack bootcamp.

Each time I took on something new, it was to solve a problem I hadn’t encountered before. When I started with branding, I thought a visual identity was enough for a small business to succeed. Over time, I was asked to create websites, and I realized they needed traffic. When I started doing SEO, I saw that the website needed more than just good keyword research; it also needed to be optimized and well-configured at a code level. This led me to my most recent adventure: the full-stack bootcamp I completed in January 2024. I have no regrets—I really enjoyed the bootcamp and found it incredibly valuable.

I believe there is a significant overlap between the disciplines I’ve been learning over the years, and I am very excited to take on more complex projects.

In conclusion, I am a digital generalist with a focus on solutions.
